Sunflower Pasta

Sunflower Pasta

Do you get the impression that I’m obsessed with yellow food? Interesting. Today’s menu is yellow pasta.

I call it sunflower because I can. πŸ€ͺ Turmeric, my love! 🫢🏻

Ingredients πŸ›’πŸ‘‰πŸ»

1 pack of penne pasta
Turmeric
Salt
Black Pepper
Dried basil
Cream
Margarine (or coconut oil)

Instructions πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Since this is going to be a short post, I will go through the recipe quickly, but I will probably talk a lot of nonsense in the meantime. So the recipe is short and easy but I talk a lot.

Boil 1 pack of penne pasta and add a teaspoon of salt and a little oil to the water. Stir a little and add 1 teaspoon (full) turmeric. Don’t spill the water! Reserve about a glass.

Put three tablespoons of oil in a pan. When it melts, add a packet of cream. Add a teaspoon of basil and one teaspoon salt and black pepper to the cream. Give it a stir. Add a little less than a glass of the pasta boiling water (maybe 3/4 of a glass). If you poured the water without reading the recipe, congratulations.😱 At worst, mix some turmeric with the hot water.

Pasta is almost ready

As I said, it’s a very easy recipe. And I didn’t talk that much. I’ll make it up to you!

Where were we? Uh, yeah.

When the sauce in the pan thickens a bit, add the drained pasta and mix well.
